I love it …. I’m leaning this way.  I figure it will give them something to fidget with rather then dumping the remainder of the petals in a pile! Also it’s something they can keep.

We also did a “blessings” wand for the flower girl.

Wedding is in May, I’m sure she will though, she thinks she is a princess 🙂

The best part was that it cost us about $1 whole dollar to make!!!  We already had ribbon from other stuff we had done and we bought the wood dowel and the top of it the day after Christmas in the Christmas floral.  Can’t complain about that part!!!

We are having a “ring fairy” and attatching the rings to the ribbons that will be hanging from the wand.  I have no little boys of the appropriate age in either family and the cutest little girl to be our “ring fairy”!  I will post pics when I am finished creating the wand.

@Masquerade Mom  I bought the same floral in silver!

@ Miss Rosie: Don’t you love sales?  I seriously think we spent like $.45-.50 then the wood dowel was like thirty something cents.  Looking forward to seeing yours!

What a great idea! I have 2 flower girls (4 and 6). I think I will make one of these out of real touch flowers and ribbon, and it will be like $5 ea. if I get a good sale!
