We are doing this, except for ours, we are giving that couple the toss bouquet instead of actually tossing it.  I think it is called the anniversary dance.

@soontobeMsL – A lot of times florists will include the toss bouquet for free if you ask.  Doesn’t hurt to try!

That sounds so adorable, i actually saw a wedding game on a tv show (i can’t remember which), where they divided the reception into two halves, and the bride and groom had to race through all the guests and give them a peck on the cheek. you would really need to space out the tables to avoid any run ins with guests, tables or chairs, but it was a cute way to thanks everyone for being there really really quicky.

I plan on doing this. To make it even cuter, I have seen the DJ dismiss any couple who have been married less than 1 day… so the bride and groom are the first to leave! They did this at my sister’s and the remaining couples were my grandparents and aunt/uncle. The DJ asked each to give the couple marital advice. My uncle said… play a lot of golf!! Hysterical.

i saw a cute one on four weddings a couple weeks ago..it was “the newly wed game” and the bride and groom sat back to back and each had a barbie and ken doll…they would ask questions like “who initiated the relationship” and then they would each hold up a doll either him or her based on who they thought did it. I thought it was cute and fun way to get to know the bride and groom as a couple.
