I’m trying to think of something cute/engraved/personalized/sentimental for my BFF that’s getting married in two months. She didn’t register and I know that she wants money. I plan on giving her money, but I want to get her something else. I’m hoping to keep it under $75 ($50 would be nice!).
Any ideas on something she would appreciate? My only thought was a silver engraved picture frame. Help?

How about toasting flutes for the wedding, with their names or monogram etched in?

I always think the alphabet photography stuff on etsy is cute, maybe you could get a frame of their new last name? Here’s one of the shops

Warning/disclaimer: I don’t want this to sound snotty, and know everyone who doesn’t register doesn’t do it for the same reasons as me. I’m projecting my own wishes as a bride who didn’t register.
If she didn’t register, it might be that she genuinely doesn’t want a bunch of commemorative trinkets.
I expect we will get a bunch of frames, figurines, or other sorts of “memento” presents from family in spite of not registering because it’s as important to them to give the gift as it is to us to have our wedding NOT be about consumerism.
A beautiful letter telling her how much she means to you is something that she’ll probably keep forever, and won’t cost you a nickel if she’s not a keeper of things and puts it in the green bin.

I saw those towels yesterday and thought they were cute!
I plan on writing her a beautiful letter. I’m flying halfway around the world to see her too, so I’m sure she’ll appreciate that. Idk, I think best friends are meant to give gifts that last a lifetime? I feel weird even giving a friend money…

I hate to say this because your sentiments sound so genuine and sweet.. but I’m with the PP who said she might not want any trinkets 🙁
If she didn’t register that’s a strong indication that they definitely don’t want any ‘stuff’ and I’d personally be hesitant to buy any of the things suggested in this thread. I know it’s crude, but they want cold hard cash and in my opinion the message sent is by not registering is clear.
