Just for fun…
anyone got any of those lovely honest overly perceptive quotes children make?
My favourite is from my sister when she was about 3-4yrs old. Mum and dad had clearly been struggling financially and my sister had become aware of it. She made them a card with a money tree on the front and inside it said:
“To Mummy and daddy,
For when money grows on trees, I am afraid I do not have a seed.
Sometimes children are the most shockingly observant. Anyone else got some classics?

i used to babysit for a family when i was a teenager. So like most teenagers, I had pretty bad acne. The one girl kept touching my face and said “what are those spots all over your face?”
I giggled about it. But then I went home and felt pretty shitty that a 7 year old pointed out my flawful skin haha
also, my sister and i used to babysit for a family with 4 kids. I was a HUGE taebo fanatic iin high school. so the one girl would hug us around our waist/butt cause she wasnt tall. She said to me “why is your butt so much harder than your sisters?” hahaha. I thoguht it was so funny. In my head I was thinking to myself “glad this taebo is paying off!” lol

When my niece was little I had on big sunglasses and she asked in the sincerest tone “why are your glasses so big when your eyes are so small???” I had to laugh, she’s full of likes like that!

This isn’t a quote but is cute. When my daughter was three we flew somewhere to visit her grandma and her ears were hurting on the flight. Well we didn’t do candy or gum back then but I broke a piece of gum in half and told her it would make her ear feel better. Couple minutes later I noticed she wasn’t chewing gum so I asked her if she swallowed it.imagine my surprise when she pulled it out of her ear. I forgot she didn’t know what gum was lol!

My niece was about three years old, and she was jumping off the couch onto the floor. I told her she had better stop it, or she was going to fall & break her butt. She said “No I won’t!” and I said “Well, it’s already cracked, you better be careful!” OMG the look on her face… priceless.

This morning my daughter asked me if we can just take it easy this evening because she “had such a hard week- first going camping and then having two field trips!” Hahah- yes YOU had a hard week.
