I think it’s too precious.  Maybe something more simple would be better, like a votive holder with a ribbon wrapped once around it?  That would use the ribbon.

I would be worried about the fire hazard.

That’s so dangerious that you shouldn’t even consider it. Fabric is flamable.

Until I saw that you said you would use “battery operated” candles, I was just thinking FIRE the whole time lol.  I think they are cute.

@Hobokenbride2012:  OP said she is using battery powered tealights, not an actual flame.

I think they are cute! Maybe try different colors?

I didn’t see the battery operated part.  But they still give off heat.

Very cute. But if you’re afraid it’s too frilly maybe have it a little less full (less layers) or use a different ribbon.

I am absolutely NOT trying to be mean, but you asked opinions and mine is that it seems a little…childish? That’s not the right word maybe, but every time I look at it I just think of a little kid’s tutu. BUT, PLEASE keep in mind that my Boyfriend or Best Friend is always telling me that my tastes are “tacky” so maybe I don’t know what looks good to begin with!

@yellowismyfavoritecolor:  I’m sorry but I have to agree :/  To me it kind of reminded me of a scrunchie wrapped around a candle.

I think simple always looks more elegant, which is why I think you should go for something without frilly ribbon.  But if that’s your taste, then that’s fine — it’s your wedding!  I’m not going to be there!!  That being said…what about the “candles” and the mini pumpkins…using white and orange ones?  That would look nice…
