@Kissed_by_lightning:  it seems so pure and genuine, I mean he is going to get her a ring but soooo many ppl wait to propose bcz they dnt hav the ring but I think it’s sweet to get engaged with or without it. true Romeo and Juliet type romance absolutely romantic!

@babypearls:  Except Romeo & Juliet ended in suicide. A lot of people forget that…. hardly romantic. Plus they were like, what, 15?

Anyway, I think the sentiment is very sweet. But, I think reality TV will do anything to pluck at the heartstrings of their target audience.

@Hyperventilate: hahahaha I knew someone would say that. Romeo and Juliet’s romance was pure and strong despite the tragedy. This is only my second time watching it so idk about the age but they definitely plucked my heart strings! Damn it! I’m a product of reality tv, where is the nearest bridge…

@Kissed_by_lightning:  omg ikr thats bullsh*t. She knew wth she was doing. They def deserve legal repercussions if this is real. god help her fiancé. If she can do that lord knows what else she is capable of.

I accepted a plastic ring that my fiance’ made at work on a machine there, because the ring he wanted to give me wasn’t ready yet.  I LOVE my plastic ring but more importantly I love my fiance, and to me it simply didn’t matter what he proposed with 🙂

@Hyperventilate:  Romeo was 17, Juliet was 13. And the whole relationship lasted the span of the play – which was four days.

Also thank you for noticing that as well. I’ve just done a whole series of blog posts on ‘Epic Romances that aren’t really Epic’ because I’m getting fed up of people holding these relationships up as things to aim for.
