I don’t have any ideas, but I think it’s great that you’re going to ask in a cute way! My brother and sil had me sign their ketubah at their wedding, and they just forgot to ask me ahead of time. I was already crying (I cry at all weddings) and then when they asked I just bawled even more, it was even more special to me b/c I made their ketubah for them. But I think it would have been nice to have some warning.

@kitzy: It’s an interfaith marriage so they weren’t strict on rules. But I didn’t know you couldn’t sign for a relative. We had my sister and my husband’s brother sign ours, the rabbi said it was fine.

I had no idea what a Ketubah even was, but my sister didn’t ask me any cute way, she just told me I was signing hers, haha! I didn’t realize what a special moment it was going to be and I loved being a part of it. 🙂
