Adorable! I’m doing a tutu skirt for our flower girl, too. She’s 6, though, so we’re having her wear it over an ivory leotard to give a little more coverage. Your girls are going to be super cute in these– great job!

This is such a sweet little dress! You did a fantastic job, and I LOVE the oversized bow!

@wabanzi:  Can I ask how much tulle you ended up using? I bought ~6 yards and am supplementing with another yard or so that I already had at home. Hoping to do three layers deep on the skirt…I could always go buy more but I REALLY don’t want to spend another few hours cutting more 3″ strips of tulle. 😉

@wabanzi:  Fabulous. I need 28″ in length for 20″ around, but I should have enough…especially if I only do two layers! Thanks for the in-progress pics…really helps give me an idea of how to tackle the project. 🙂

So you used six inch wide strips on the under layer, then ten inch wide and nine inch wide strips on the upper level? I’m making one in blue for my flower girl next year.
