(Closed) cutting costs, is this a rude way to do it?

    really, if someone asked for my address but then I never received anything, I’d think it strange but wouldn’t ever mention it, I’d assume there was some problem and I wasn’t invited, and then move on. us bees are often stuck on etiquette and insisting the bride must do things by the book to avoid offending people, but what about as a guest – would people seriously “chase up” a missing invite???

    raliel:  That makes sense.  To be fair, the gift we gave was certainly proportional to that fact.
