OK, so here it is. I have been growing my hair out for the last 8 months for our wedding. I really don’t like my hair long, I feel more attractive with short hair. But none the less I have been growing it out because I thought that all brides should have long hair (duh). So I was thinking the day of the wedding chopping my hair off. I have had the same hair stylist for over 6 yrs and I trust him completely.
Here is a pic of me with shorter hair (horrible pic, but you can see it’s shorter):
Here is what I look like now (my hair is hideous) it’s actually a tad longer now:
Now this is the cut I want:
OK, so the question is has anyone done this?? Would you do this?? (And my Fiance loves my hair however he really doesn’t care bc he says I am the one that has to fix it so it’s up to me, haha) This would be a complete suprise to him the day of, I think he would be happily surprised.

I’ve thought about doing something like this, but everytime I look at pics of myself with short hair, I’m not impressed. I think you look great both ways, and can’t go wrong. It is risky the day of, but since you trust your stylist you shouldn’t have anything to fear. Do whatever you want, because honestly, you can’t go wrong, short or long. Brides do not need long hair!
PS. Your hair doesn’t look hideous in the second pic.

Your hair looks AMAZING in the second pic too, but I love the haircut you selected. If you feel best shorter, go shorter. Whatever makes you comfortable is what will be best…

OMG I love your hair in the second pic. The hair style you want now is cool too. I think you can rock whatever hairstyle you want you are so cute!

I love the inspiration picture and think its totally do-able on your wedding day if you trust your stylist! Its super cute! AND your hair is beautiful in the second picture…so shush. lol

I like your hair long I think because I like the bangs. The pic of the cut you want is so cute and would look awesome with a pretty headband or headpeice. You’re not the type to wear a formal updo so don’t do it, the important thing is not to look like a bride, but to look like YOU as a bride.

i say cut it! that bob is gorgeous and will look AMAZING on you!

i would do it, i’m going to be growing mine simply to get back to my natural colour my hair grows slowly so i’m starting early… i simple don’t want purple hair for my wedding (as i do now) i love my hair either very long or very short the inbetween stage drives me mad.
as i will never manage to get to the long hair stage i’m going to keep it short.
i to had the brides should have long hair thought…. but i’ve decided i love my hair short

Your hair is so gorgeous! Short or long, I like your hair better without bangs.

I cut my hair the week before, and I don’t regret it at all! I think you’d look great with that hairstyle.

awwww I love your hair long!! I would say to keep it!! Maybe after the wedding– by a month or so, you can do something ” new” which is cut it?
