Seriously, I need some hope that there ARE some! Most of the items I waited to buy online today are MORE expensive then they were originally! Makes me so friggin frusterated. So far Amazon is on my “Your making me very annoyed list” and Target is getting right up there! Walmart is not completely on that list yet but I’m still not too impressed with them either.
I was kind of like this on Black Friday too. The only good “deals” I found were on some $5.00 DVD’s at Wal-Mart. Other then that, if I wasn’t buying 1 of the 20 Flat screen TV’s that the store had in stock for a $100 dollars less then the original price then I wasn’t really getting a deal on anything. At least not a good enough one in my book.
Maybe I just have some major bitterness towards the Black Friday and Cyber Monday savings this year. I feel more taken advantage of by major retailers then getting helped out. True, that is their job to be sneaky but common?! Is America really that materialistic and brainwashed by greed to not be able to see whats right under our noses? There are no deals! Only more ways to make more money!
Ok I’m done. Thanks for reading! If you did get a great deal then Congrats! I want to hear about it! I need to see a glimmer of hope. LOL

I got a good deal at the mall! Lots of places were having good sales and I was able to get almost ALL of my shopping done. I don’t really need electronics.
But Darling Husband had to work at Target Friday morning and he said they did have some good sales….unfortunately they weren’t available to the employees! Not that we need another tv or anything.

My Brother-In-Law went to Target. They had a folding table with a big sale sign that said $99. Under the sale sign was the normal sticker tag that said $99.

Piperlime has 20% off today along with the regular free shipping and returns. I’ll probably be getting myself some pretty brown boots in a little bit.

I got a good deal at Amazon today for Criminal Minds Season 1 for Mother-In-Law and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood for hubby. Also got a pretty decent deal on a bluetooth for hubby. So that’s some Christmas gifts knocked off the list 🙂
And of course, my amazing $1 smartphone deal on Black Friday has made my week!

@kalliela: It’s the online retailer’s answer to Black Friday. On Boyfriend or Best Friend, most shoppers will go to the physical store for deals. On CM, online retailers purportedly offer deep discounts on merchandise sold on their website. Purportedly because it’s a rather new thing–only in the past few years–and it’s not nearly as widespread among online retailers as it is among stores on Boyfriend or Best Friend. There are deals to be had (Amazon and Overstock are two I’ve browsed today), but nothing spectacular so far.

Well, we found an awesome deal on a Samsung 55″ LED TV at 50% off… and the store ordered us one at that deal because they were sold out 😉
We also found a 9″ LED electronic picture frame thing for $30 (Since I can’t narrow down which images to frame) and got outdoor speakers for 50% off.
But, other than that, I wasn’t all that impressed with deals this year either… but we’re keeping it really low-key with gifting. We got married just under a month ago and are starting major house renovations today so…

I’m glad that I got my laptop on Thanksgiving, the sales today aren’t good. I think a big problem is that a lot of stores had sales starting at the beginning of November, plus consumer spending has picked up so they don’t need to super discount things anymore to get people to come out and buy things.
