DreaMT216 :  Hahah that’s why I like spelling it Damian. It’s one of the names I’m thinking of for my future son, but many people always comment on the fact that it’s the Omen boy ๐Ÿ˜› Do you/does he get a lot of comments with that?

hopfenn :  Yes! Lol but I don’t care.  There has been quite a few comments… usually just a quick joke and that’s it.  It’s a great name you should use it!

DreaMT216 :  Awesome, glad to hear ๐Ÿ˜€ I really do love the name! It works well in English and Polish as well (my whole family is Polish) and it’s so hard to find names that work well in multiple languages. Thanks ๐Ÿ˜€

My son is named Deklan (ya I’m one of those parents that spelt it differently) and I love his name. I’m surprised people have such a strong hate towards it. I love D names too because they sound strong and masculine. I voted for Dirk. Oh and just so you know my son’s teachers rave about how good he is and I know they aren’t just blowing smoke. So my son isn’t one of ‘those kids’ that teachers don’t like.

Dexter has been on my favorite names list since I was a kid. Not sure where I first heard the name but I’ve loved it. Yeah, there’s a show about a serial killer by the same name. But I still love it and love the nickname Dex (but probably wouldn’t use that as a full, formal name). We’re TTC and H is unsure about the name, but I’m hoping I’ll win out on this one if we’re ever successful. ๐Ÿ™‚

I worked with a guy named Dack before which is kind of different,  don’t think I would use it but liked that I never heard it before.  More common names I like better Dylan,  David,  Devin,  Derek, Dean and Declan.
