Personally, I’m not a huge fan of watching other people dance (or dancing myself,) so I would say that if a song was more than 3-4 minutes, I would honestly get a little bored. BUT…I do think that’s a cute idea, and with the blending of different songs, if you really did have an interesting choreographed dance (not just swaying back and forth!) then I would probably be more interested! 🙂

Can you maybe cut down on the first song?  I know the story is important to you, but honestly no one will be listening to the lyrics.  They’ll just be looking at the two of you, taking pics, oohing and ahhing and then they’ll think the transition is hilarious.  Love “sweet child of mine”  hahaha

I think 6:30 is a bit long, I agree with pp, maybe cut down the first song?  When it came to my dance, my Dad actually got nervous and we cut our one song short, haha.

I also think it’s a bit too long. If you can get shorten the first song, even just a little bit I think it would make a difference.

But it’s important to keep meaningful aspects of the wedding day, so if you can’t shorten it just go with what you had originally planned. It won’t be the end of the world if people are a little bored for a few minutes.
