Wonderful idea, dear. Love this thread already.

Today (and hopefully every day) I am grateful for my family, and my family to be. They really showed me how quickly they can mobilize in a crisis and be there for me and for each other. I am grateful for the sheer number of prayers that went out to my father as he underwent his surgery.

I am so grateful for Fiance, who showed me how much he loved and cherished me by being by my side by getting us to NYC and back on zero notice. He went to the hospital every day and worked at night from my cousins couch, just so he could be there when I needed him.

I am grateful for my Fiance, I am suffering with severe depression at the moment, got diagnosed a few months ago, and my Fiance has been AMAZING through all of it. He has been there to cheer me up or even just hold me when I have had a breakdown. I am also grateful in a way for getting it diagnosed, he and I have fought hardly at all in that time, it certainly shows that tough times make love stronger.

@bakerella:  Awww so sweet!

I love these posts…

Today I am grateful for my girls. I had a freaking out moment yesterday because the restaurant where we were supposed to have my bridal shower at got terminated and closed down. I didn’t even get a warning, no letter, NADA! No deposit was made, thank goodness, but I freaked out!! They were there for me, helping me out, and came up with a different plan and now I’m soooo excited for the shower.

I am grateful for Fiance every single day…but more so today, because yesterday we had our first dinner party with our friends, and it felt so awesome to share our home with our friends. I am also grateful for our house, our family and our friends. I am so grateful for the love that we all feel when we’re together πŸ™‚

Today I am grateful for the opportunity to move to a new state and take the next step in my career (aka graduate school), with a husband who is supportive and excited and with me every step of the way. The family & friends involved in the move are so helpful and are doing so much to make it a smooth transition that it allows me to stop stressing for a minute and just get excited about this adventure we are about to embark on!

I am very grateful for my husband, my parents and my husband’s parents.  I broke my ankle in two places a week and half ago and they all have been a god send with helping out with the our 9 month old son, helping me out and helping out with the house hold!

I could  never repay any of them…

I love the idea of this thread.  Thank you!  Smile

I believe what we’re grateful and thankful for grows.

I thank God every day my Fiance is in my life.  I’ve never felt so loved or safe – he’s my everything.  The longer we’re together the more I trust him, depend on him and know he’s the best friend I’ve ever had.  I hold him in high esteem and respect and he treasts me with gentle loving kindness.  I can barely describe in words how much I love him and how everything about him is perfect in my eyes.  To me, he’s the most wonderful man on earth.  And our adoration and admiration for each other is mutual.  I have never felt with all my heart and soul that someone truly loved me until now.

I’m blessed!

I am grateful to have a job.  Every morning when I get up, I think about shutting off my alarm and going back to bed.  But I get up, and am grateful to have a job that gets me out of bed and makea difference!  My job gives me the ability to support myself, travel, study, and grow professionally and personally!

I am grateful for my awesome friends that are really stepping up to keep me busy while Darling Husband is gone for 6 weeks. I would be super bored and lonely if they weren’t all so thoughtful.

Today, I’m grateful for a woman at work who is always smiling and happy, even when work is dragging us down. She’s one of the few personable people in my office. She was off on vacation for the past week, and I missed her sorely. She’s back today, and it’s really nice to have a friend around the office, especially when work is making me crazy!

I needed this today.  I got to work and realized that a bunch of samples I drew from our pediatric patients & sent to the downtown lab were not properly handled & now are no good.  I am SO MAD- not only because now I have to call a bunch of parents and tell them I need to poke their kid (again!) but because some of these kids have been through so much already.  I hate to be a source of anxiety, and really- some of these kiddos are crazy tough but that doesn’t make it any easier to tell them I have to draw more blood πŸ™

That said, I’m thankful to have a job, and I am thankful that I have a supportive boss who understands that this isn’t my mistake, but I’m more than willing to bust my ass to fix it.  It’s great to have a good boss, but it makes a world of difference when there’s a shit storm at work :/

I’m also thankful for my Fiance who will gladly listen to me vent when I get home tonight.  I am also very grateful for my health… as I’ll be going on a good hard run after work to get out some of this aggression.

I’m very thankful for several Bees too!  You guys tell it like it is when we need to hear the truth, but are so caring & understanding when a fellow Bee needs support.  You guys are the best πŸ™‚

Today I am grateful for my Darling Husband who brings me breakfast in bed to help with my morning sickness…and for the little one growing inside of me…and that the first trimester yuckies should be over before I return to work as a teacher.
