I lost a chunk of weight doing all sorts of things but gladly reintroduced dairy back to my diet.
I’m needing to get back on track and lose about 10 pounds of pudge and am realizing it’s going to come off a WHOLE lot quicker if I give up dairy and the added calories my dairy consumption brings.
I’ll likely go back to dairy in moderation (I’m not lactose opposed)…. it just feels IMPOSSIBLE right now and I’m looking for support and success stories for motivation.

I am assuming you are also working out? I would suggest Paleo, which is what I am doing & have seen wonderful results. It’s no grains, no dairy, nothing processed, no legumes, and most importantly no sugars. All of those things together will make your body hum. I probably lost about 10lbs in a month doing that 🙂 good luck!!

When my doctor wanted to talk to me about my weight, he asked about my dairy habits. I didn’t really think about it but I had my vitamin D milk in my cereal, one to two yogurts a day, and cheese here and there, and of course ice cream. I decided to cut back to see what happened. I usually only have a little milk with my cereal now, just enough to make it wet, if i have yogurt it’s light greek (love the yoplait 100 cal ones), ice cream has been taken off the menu completely and i rarely eat cheese now. I guess it’s just about making better dairy choices. Just look at what you are eating dairy wise and see if you can make a better choice.
