Mockingbird Bridal is good, my cousin got her dress there and I was a bridesmaid and we got our dresses there.  Plus, it’s right next to the original Campisi’s so you can go eat after!

I got my dress from Bridal Boutique in Lewisville though.  They have a HUGE selection and I felt more comfortable there.  Wynne helped me and she was great!!! Good luck!!!

Circle Park is good, I went there also.  But they have a very small selection.  It’s all sorted by size, so if you need a size 10 they might only have 15 dresses available.

If you want to save money, another place to go is Willow Bend Mall. I can’t remember the name of it, but there is a place that only sells samples (so cheaper) on the second floor near Macy’s.

I went there and it’s hit or miss.  I tried on a few dresses but nothing was the one. They only have about 30-40 dresses in the whole shop.

But I have a friend who bought a dress there and loved it.  I think she loved the price more than anything, it was $400.

If you head to Ft Worth, I HIGHLY recommend Weddings on the Boulevard.

It’s a fairly small shop, but they keep beautiful stock. And, with a few hours notice, they had my dress (a sample) spot cleaned, packaged, and FedEx’d to me in Oklahoma City for a possible next-day elopement. They even offered to meet me half way (a 2hr drive!) if necessary!

Service just can’t get better than that!

Check out Lasting Bridal Couture of Addison.  I haven’t bought my dress yet, but will probably end up going back there to get it because they were very helpful.

Mockingbird Bridal also has a good selection but they weren’t the friendliest.  The prices do seem to be a little lower, though, so it may be worth it.

There’s a place in Denton that doesn’t take appointments but boasts tons of dresses.  I never made it there because I found my dress at:

Bridal Boutique 38 Reviews
Lewisville, TX

Phone: 972-219-8500

Also, seriously considered dresses at Alfred Angelou

The place in Denton is:

@Marabeth  I talked to one bride at the bridal show in late Jan and she found a dress there for $300.  Of course she was very skinny so keep in mind they’ll most likely have just the old samples there.

I will second the Bridal Boutique in Lewisville.  That’s where I bought mine, and they are FANTASTIC.  Their service has been so excellent so far.

Mockingbird Bridal is also pretty good, but their stuff tends to be on the really expensive side, I think.

I got mine at David’s Bridal in Dallas on sale for $299.

The salon at Willowbend mall is hit or miss like others said, and doesn’t have a very big selection at all. I couldn’t even find one I actually wanted to try on, and the prices weren’t that low.

I live in Oklahoma, but bought my dress at Distinct Elegance in Cedar Hill, just south of Dallas.  Wonderful quaint little boutique in historic downtown.

They have lots of gowns and they go out of their way to make you feel special and like a bride.

They were wonderful!
