Just left Men’s Wearhouse and I feel so disappointed. The lady that helped us had no customer service skills what-so-ever! We told her our wedding colors (black & silver) and she grabbed this little tux swatch thing that had little half ties and half a vest hooked on a ring. She fanned them out and then stared at us, like ok pick one. No suggestions, no input, no smile, no nothing. Then she gave us a lecture about how the groom has to wear a white vest and tie, even though my fiancee wants to wear silver. Ugh! Can someone give me a different place to try out where maybe he could try on the vest, or at least a place that can suggest options with a smile? Thanks in advance!

We used Al’s Formal Wear and they were great to us. I had pretty much the same experience at MW (even down to the groom MUST WEAR WHITE) and refused to go back.

We’re using a place called Tuxedo Junction, although I can’t remember which mall it was in! The guy was super helpful and really nice, plus it’s not too expensive.

Try Joseph A. Bank, Belk, Macy’s, Dillards? My father has purchased suits etc from Jos. A. Bank for several years. The one at the mall in Cedar Hill has excellent customer service. 🙂
