The Magic Time Machine has pretty mediocre food and is geared towards kids but I love it. Its an old building that hasn’t been renovated since the 70s, the servers are all dressed up as characters from movies and stay in character through out your meal. You can eat inside a giant pumpkin or a school bus (every table is themed) and upstairs they have a magic show, fortune teller and arcade. Also, a really dirty seedy bar area.

Its a blast if you’re into that sort of thing and aren’t afraid to possibly get tetanus.

If you’re going to be in Grand Prairie, you should go swimming at Joe Pool Lake. Another good place to swim is Grapevine Lake. And you could also go to Hurricane Harbor, which is a pretty good water park. I would recommend Six Flags but going there in July really is not much fun. You’d probably have a good time at the Dallas Aquarium. And also the Kimball Art Museum.
