I also vote for the original gown, as it gives you curves. I think the Pnina definitely emphasizes your thin frame in the way it sounds like you want to avoid ๐Ÿ™

I’m going against the crowd on this one.  Second one, hands down… and I’m definitely not one of those “designer” people.  (I bought my dress from China)

I think the Pnina has a much better and softer look than the first one, and I think it looks so much better on your tiny frame.  The first dress is just too bold and overwhelms you.  Pnina all the way!

Pnina!!!!!!  I never ever like her gowns, but that gown?  Wow.  And it gives you shape and va-voom factor.  Yet, its rich looking.  I really don’t like the black sash and the buttons on the first one.  Its too heavy.

#2 looks like royalty and timeless and not fad-ish.

๐Ÿ™‚  You look great in both, but #2 is the absolute winner for me, for you.

Honestly, I’d need to see a better photo of you in the Pnina to decide.

Consider the fact that the first one was taken with you standing up in a dress that was buttoned up completely.  It fit perfectly.

The pnina needs to be given THE SAME CONSIDERATION.  Buttoned up/laced up, taken in with those little clips they use (if needed), and WITH YOU STANDING.

I’m pretty sure if you took photos of the first one IN THE SAME EXACT POSITIONS as the second, you would look differently in it.

Let’s see some better photos of you in the gown and then it’ll be easier AND BETTER for us to tell which looks better on you.

No one knows me here – I’m more of a Talbots, Lilly Pulitzer girl.  From Boston and a counselor, 40.  Blonde straight hair that is very plain, short, and dance.  So I don’t fall in the “fashionista” category.  Little on non-adventurous side. ๐Ÿ˜‰  So, take my vote with a grain.

    Looks good though, both!

Ok, I’m going to be brutally honest… in my opinion, the Pnina is by far a prettier dress. The fabric, the detailing, everything about it shouts luxurious and romantic.

HOWEVER, if the question is which dress looks better ON YOU, then hands down the original. The Pnina makes you look super thin and straight, no curves. I don’t know… maybe it’s because you aren’t standing up straight? The original really gives you curves and has that old hollywood glam feel. I totally see you rocking that bird cage veil and red lipstick. The Pnina does not say hollywood glam or vintage/mod to me at all. I see it paired with an up do of loose curls, a romantic flower and a cathedral length veil.

#1, I am sorry but the diagonal seams on the second one simply are not fattering and make the dress look cheap. You are a knock out and #1 does you justice!

Don’t consider the label, choose which dress you like best.

I have to admit that the Pnina does ZERO for you.  It’s not flattering at all.  The first one is awesome. ๐Ÿ™‚

I love the first one on you. Hands down, its the one I would pick, designer label or no designer label.

Aw I am totally against the grain here but I love the Pnina and I think it would look great with a thin crystal sash. I think your girls look marvelous in it too.  But comfort is key too, so if you feel squashed, that would be bad.

    @TamiN:I completely agree.

I really think that with the alterations made the Pnina would be just as flattering as the first one. I think it looks softer and more romantic than the first dress.
