Hi ladies so I am planning a damask and purple wedding. I am not sure how I am going to incorporate this for the reception decor. I am thinking about a few options. Ihope you ladies can share pics of your wedding decor with damask or black and white. Thanks again!!

Look at this thread from the other day, there are some pics on there http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/too-much-damask
In the thread I said that I like the white linen but now looking again I think I prefer black tablecloths as per my vote for you 😉

Thanks for the link. I think I am loving the black tablecloth with the runner/overlay.

Hi! I am doing black and white damask for our wedding too. Because we have black chairs at the venue, I am doing white tablecloths, damask runners, and a white sash on the black chairs. I bought the tablecloths and runners cheap from this website: http://www.efavormart.com.

Are you adding another color? How are you going to incorporate it?@MrsMoksha:

@glo27 – Our colors are primarily black and white but I am going to incorporate some soft pinks and greens to lighten it up a little. For example, the bouquets, bouts and centerpieces will be white/cream, soft pink and pale green flowers. I may also have some sort of pink text on our menu cards.

I did black and white damask with purple.. And it was LOVE….I did black linens with black and white chair sashses and napkins.. the linen company made them for me (I was married in May) and now rents them. and she does ship out of state.. .Heres a pic but also the link on my project wedding site for more pics..let me know if you need any of her contact info or anything !!!
If I were you I would do black tablecloths, the runners and then maybe white napkins depending on the centerpieces…. I will say that we did A LOT Of purple lighting and it TOTALLLLLLY set the theme..

I was a damask bride too…it’s so classy and elegant! I think either 1 or would look great. However, I think that you need to keep in mind the lighting and colors of your venue. Try to visualize what each would look like in pictures too (you don’t want it to be too dark).
