Any other DIY brides out there who are just cursed when it comes to using a hot glue gun? I am using mine for so many projects (card box, flower girl baskets, toasting flutes, guest book, aisle runner, ect) and I swear I burned about 3 layers of skin off of my finger tips! My pinky got the worst of it last night with a pretty nasty burn blister by accidentally touching the metal tip. I cannot be the only one here who is severely challenged when it comes to hot glue!

That’s why I got a low-temp glue gun; I had an extreme glue gun accident when I was a teenager with my mom’s glue gun. It just hurts really bad with the low-temp, no actual burning, and I haven’t noticed any difference in how the crafts turn out.

I had third degree burns on both thumbs and my right pointer finger from my glue gun. It was a horrible experience!

That’s why I used E-6000 glue for most of my DIY projects. If I need more precision I use syringes.
