im not having a dance floor either–out of my budget. just leave an empty space, people will figure it out 🙂

It is very  difficult to dance on a carpeted floor.

I’ve danced on carpeted floor and it’s not that difficult. If people want to dance, they’ll do it anywhere that is available and most do not care if the floor is carpeted vs hardwood. If you can’t afford the extra expense, go with the space that you do have.

I don’t think a dance floor is worth the extra expense if you can’t afford it.

$150 is a really good deal if your venue can do it for that I would say go for it but that is just me!
