I think they can look very chic depending on what design you get. But I worry that it would start coming up when people scruff it with their shoes or it’d leave residue on the floor late!

I think it sounds so cool! You always see them on the wedding shows, too and I think they’re a great way to add that little personal touch. It’s probably more expensive but you could do it with lighting, as well. Just do some research and I’m sure you’ll find a good vendor!

Sounds exciting, do it!

My sister had it (bought from someone off Ebay) and it was pretty cool.  It stuck to the floor very well despite obviously having drinks spilled on it all night.  When I picked it up, there was a very clear “line” on the floor around where it had been. 🙂  There was no residue on the floor either.  Make sure it’s ok with your venue though!

I’d look at oriental trading company. They seem to have a few good ones.

Hey, I would highly suggest talking to your reception site event coordinator. I had also thought of doing this, but our coordinator stated that in the past the decal has destroyed the finish on the dance floor. This probably depends on the decal and the floor, but double check before you purchase.

I went to a wedding that had one and I thought it looked a bit cheesy.

I think they are really nice but you will have to check with your venue first.

I am having some done for the windows since I really don’t have a dance floor and they came out beautiful!  The girl I got them from said that the floor decals stay really well but will come up very easy if you peel it the right way.
