When do we do all the dances(father/daughter, first dance, etc)?
When do we cut the cake?
Do the best man and maid of honor make the toast before we cut the cake?
When do we eat the cake and toast? Which comes first? Do we drink our champagne after the toasts are said?
Sorry so many questions… just cant remember.. I have 2 weddings to go to before mine so I will be watching every little detail they do, but I have these questions! I feel so dumb haha.

Fiance & I are planning on doing our first dance right after our entrance, but I’ve heard of people doing it later in the reception.
I’ve also heard of people cutting the cake right after the first dance.. but I believe most people wait until later in the evening. Maybe like an hour before the reception is over.
Here’s a timeline I found on The Knot!

I think it’s really up to you! As long as it flows well, you can do as you please.
You can walk in, go right to dinner, do toasts/speeches, cake, and then dances.
Or, you can walk in, have your first dance as a couple, cut your cake (so the caterers can cut up the rest while dinner is served) have speeches, dinner, eat cake, and then do the parent dances to kick off the party. Just run through scenarios in your mind and see what you like best.
