I didn’t know I wanted a rhinestone headband until I was researching comb placement (was hoping to wear it during the ceremony in addition to the veil). I came across some lovely headbands and just adore the look, particularly in dark hair.
Even on Ebay, most of them are running up in the $90 range. I guess compared to bridal shops that is a steal (a less intricate one was going for $200 at David’s Bridal). I’ve searched all the used sites too and haven’t found much that fit what I was thinking (large design on the side, rhinestone headband, love the thin double headband).
Anyone else wearing a headband? Where did/are you getting it?
Here’s one I’m coveting, although I’m not sure if the design is just TOO big – but my dress is somewhat plain so I think I’ll go a little beyond my comfort zone with jewelry to bling it up:

@NAvery: Have you tried finding something similar on Etsy?

@strawbabies: Yeah, Etsy has a large selection of beaded ones, but not too many rhinestone ones (and the ones they do have are as expensive or more expensive, which is understandable since they are handmade).
I should have noted, that one I posted is $95 on Ebay.
Of course, I set my whole wedding (costume) jewelry budget at $75. I might have to adjust that!

I ordered my Swarovski-crystal headband from a bridal salon. (One salon priced it at $400, but the salon where I purchased my gown ordered it for me for only $260.)

My swarovski headband will be $220 from the bridal salon which I’m finding is pretty nowmal. I was hoping to be able to find something else, but once I fall for something thats it. Oh well…Im just going to have to make up the money somewhere else. My jewelry budget was $200, but with my bracelet, earrings and headband I’ll be spending over $400. Oops…guess I blew that one out of the water.

Ebay Stores are another great place to find stuff like this cheap. I ordered a beautiful tiara for my first wedding from an Ebay Store for less than $20 (it was the Diana Love Knot which cost over $50 from everyone else online and over $100 from a bridal store.)
