I spent that much on crinoline, but when I took my dress in for alterations my seamstress told me to lose it completely and get my money back!

@bump:  They told me no at first too.  I negotiated for about 15 minutes.  Brought up how much money had been spent at their store between myself and my bridesmaids, not to mention my step mom was getting her dress their too.  Eventually they changed their mind.

Mine was $60….but the lady who did my alterations said she would buy it from me after the wedding for $25.  Yay….bonus $$

Nope, I paid $85.00 for mine. I knew that they were available for less online but I didn’t want to run the risk of those not working out. The one I found was perfect, just enough poof, so I was okay with paying more.

Mine was $40, ordered from Amazon. I’d initially ordered another one, but when I received it, I realised it wouldn’t work. I needed something with less pouf. I was able to return that one for free and get the one I currently have.

But I’m an extreme cheapskate, so keep that in mind πŸ™‚

@bump:  My dress….not a mermaid, very poof! It came with built in crinoline but I wanted some added volume on top of what it had already. A mermaid slip was just enough for bottom poof.
