Has any one done this ? I have lost 15lbs but blood pressure up still , so I want to give this a try . I weigh 234 now . I’m 5’2 Im so over weight after having 2 kids and not carring about anything . Please let me know if it work for you ? Some pointer would help please , no rude comments please ! Thank you

Congratulations on your desire to get healthy and your weight loss! Keep it up! Yes, a DASH diet will definitely help your blood pressure since it’s reducing your salt intake. Salt will make you retain water, which causes more fluid to stay in your circulatory system, which causes your pressure to increase because your heart has to work harder to pump the extra volume.
I hope you’ve consulted with your doctor on this and perhaps you can be started on some blood pressure lowering medication. If you keep eating right and exercising and losing weight, hopefully you won’t need the pressure meds any more!

Im very sensitive to meds last blood pressure med I was allergic to. Im to afraid to try the new one. I have bad anxiety . I dont eat salt or add salt , im going try not it any box made food . It seem I got celiac . Im getting tested for it o. Not eating bread seem to be helping . Tummy not hurting as much , which make my bp not be so high lol or anxiety. Thank you so much . Im going give it my all .
