Before we had a baby my husband and I would get tipsy at home and do YouTube karaoke together lol. It may not sound classy but it sure was fun! For the fall we also like apple picking or going to a football game (even if it is sometimes just the little cousins’ pee wee games instead of the Pats). Local community theaters can also be excellent low-key date nights.

We love going to arcades for date nights! We do Dave and Busters sometimes, or there’s a few others pretty close to home.

We go to the cider mill a lot during the fall, and our favorite has a winery right next door, so it’s like a two for one date.

There’s a paint your own pottery shop down the street from us, we’ve done that before and has a lot of fun. We made a Halloween candy dish last year and we’re going to do a Christmas one soon.

Sometimes we pack up some food and have a picnic in the park and play some catch or go fishing.

We support the cultural events around us, so we go to music events, the theatre, the cinema, art workshops, and any charity events. We go out to dinner a lot too and we enjoy even just going to a coffee shop and reading. Bars/pubs + board games are a lot of fun too!

The old unoriginal but still fun ‘dinner and movie’.

At-home backyard bonfire with a bottle of wine.

Local cultural/ community events.

Scenic hike with a picnic.
