For our wedding we are having it and our cocktails and cake reception in our hometown at a friend’s ranch next summer and we are absolutely stuck on deciding between 2 dates
and July 23rd
I checked and in the past 5 years it has never rained on either day
my 21st birthday will be June 16th and we’re spending a few days in vegas for that so is the June date going to be enough time to recover?
We just can’t decide! help please?

Having a trip to Vegas and planning the wedding for the same month might be too much to handle. There are a lot of wedding planning details that have to be taken care of during the last month or so.

By the way, you should add a poll.

Will you have enough time to handle to final details being in Vegas right before..that would be my only concern.
As crazy as it sounds, one reason we picked our date is that I didn’t want it to be tht time of the month for the wedding or honeymoon…just don’t want to have to worry about it!

Being a fellow midwestern bride (but somewhat north of you) I have to go with the June date. It gets soooooo hot in July. And not just hot but humid. . . icky. Even if the ceremony and reception are inside you’ll still have to go outside for something. I’d rather to go outside in a wedding dress in june than july.

I am all for June 25,2011 We chose June 25th for our wedding because it tends to be really hot in July. If you are having an outdoor event, then I say go with the cooler month. Good luck with your choice!!!

I voted for June because July is so hot. When we were picking dates July and August were completely off the table. You can think of the Vegas trip as a nice little break before the wedding to unwind!

I chose July because I really didn’t want my anniversary to fall too close to my birthday, and I know all to well that it will be hot and humid in June AND July in Oklahoma!
