zstbee84 :  Seriously don’t beat yourself up over this. A good doctor will walk you through every step of the process with your pregnancy in terms of when your appointments will be, what will be done at each one, how the US will work, etc. You shouldn’t have to intuit this stuff especially not when it’s  your first pregnancy. I hope this all gets resolved soon and that your new OB is much more on top of things. The incompetence you’re dealing with now is really appalling.

zstbee84 :  Congrats!  How ridiculous that they didn’t let you hear your baby’s heartbeat.  I understand there are rules, but that is a stupid rule.

zstbee84 :  better high than low! is it possible you’re a few days further along than you thought? a day or two can make a big difference in heart rate when it’s this early on! but 157 is great!

Jesus H Christ what a nightmare to get simple info. I really hope your new OB is much better. I will say though, try to calm down and definely stop googling stuff. Google will always make you believe you have cancer, will miscarry, get leprosy etc. 157bpm at 6 weeks is perfect. 120 bpm at 6 weeks is perfect. And 170 bpm at 6 weeks is perfect. Your baby is doing great, your hcg looks good. Relax and try to enjoy it a bit now 🙂 congrats mama
