I just wanted to post an update! I just mailed my pink moissanite and it will get there by Thursday. David is already working on my ring!

I have a ring spinning problem and hated the plain shank of my platinum baguette diamond band. I had DK engrave and milgrain the shank and I am so in love.

Before pics are mine. After pics are David’s .

Video I hope…lol

Slick :  omg I love that!! My wedding band is a 3/4 diamond band from DK and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to eternity it but this is just brilliant! I will have to go back and ask him about doing this.

jasc8790 :  Thank you! I am so impressed once again by his work and he’s a pleasure to boot!

desirella :  I am so happy that when I look down I won’t see that ugly shank anymore. I almost sold my ring as I hated it that much. Now I love it again! Definitely ask him, he is sooo reasonable and it was quick too! Good luck!!

HI all

I was just wondering you when getting your ring done by David did you send him the diamond yourself or did you send it directly from the online retailer (assuming you purchased your diamond online)?

any insight would be great!

groom2be86 :  I assume you could do either, but I bought it and had it shipped to me and then to David because I wanted to see it in person before.  You would save postage by sending it directly.  Insured shipping isn’t cheap.

groom2be86 :  I had mine shipped to me then I shipped it to David. I had bought mine years before I started getting my ring made, so I already had it. But even if I got the stone later I still would have had it shipped to me first to make sure I like it.

groom2be86 :  I’m having my stone sent to me so I can look at it first and then sent to David.  I’m super picky so it’s not that I wouldn’t trust David to get it first, I just want to see it firsthand prior.

I just reached out to David last week about my first project with him! My stone just arrived to me on Friday, and David should have designs for me on Monday — then I’ll ship him the stone. Super excited! He said 35 days for this project.

Here’s my stone before I ship it off:

Any my inspiration pics (1st one is a piece by DK, 2nd one is not):

Guys guys guys! He FINALLY proposed so this beauty is no longer sitting sad and lonely in a box. Neither David’s nor my pictures do it justice. I was really nervous it wouldn’t look “engagement-y” enough but it is so delicate and feminine in person. Also the stone is a pink spinel off eBay that was a huge gamble but paid off. It’s very moody and goes from grey to lilac to pink. I was worried it would be “see through” but it’s very sparkly.

THANK YOU to everyone who helped me make decisions on my ring!

I am currently working on my 3rd and 4th project with David. He made a new setting for me about 6 months ago, but I decided that it is a little large. I also had a 10 stone channel set band that he is remaking into an eternity. So excited!
