All I have is – do your alterations elsewhere, you can find them cheaper. That’s what I’m going to do.

I’m not enitrely sure what you’re asking about the sash?

I’ve heard their alterations are pretty expensive. I got my dress there and they quoted me about the same to add a bustle, shorten the hem, and take it in a tad under my arms. I plan on getting a couple other quotes from local tailors though.

They quoted me nearly $300 to shorten the hem, take the dress in and add a bustle.  Instead, I took it to my local tailor and had it done beautifully for $120.  They are overpriced.  When I told my tailor how much they wanted to charge simply for the bustle, she couldn’t believe it.  I believe it was around $70 or so at DB’s while she only charged $20 for the same one.

Call them and they can answer any questions you have about the sash, alternatively drive to the nearest one and look at it yourself, sometimes the description of it, wont be as clear as you hoped. I had questions about one of their slips I wanted to know how many layers of tulle it had and when I called them, they had such a hard time xplaining it to me, so I just went to the store and looked at it myself
