Thanks! I wonder what they charge to add the ‘modesty panel.’ My first fitting in Sept 3, so I’ll see then. My dress has 1 layer of silk and 2 layers of chiffon so I’m scared to know the hemming cost! Thankfully it fits perfectly besides that.

@The_Future_KB:  My dress was satin but I had about 4 layers to hem and it was $150 for my hem!

This is awsome thank you for posting it, now I know what my Bridesmaid or Best Man will be paying to get her dress takin in.

I had a satin drape side brooch bridesmaid dress from DB and I had it hemmed and had the bust taken in .5 inche on each side and the total was $95.


My gown is an Oleg Cassini CT258, many tulle layers.  I had it hemmed, the bust taken in .5 inches on each side and the back zipper removed and a lace-up corset style back added in including a panel.  I also had a three-point over bustle done and the total cost was $420.  (This was a DB alterations in Massachusetts)
