I’m almost positive they make you pay at the time you bring it in. They are a bit pricey for okay work. They charged my sister 100$ just to get it hemmed which I thought was a little much. Ive had several friends who payed over 400$ for simple alterations. The only good thing is if the alterations department messes up its on them. If you go elsewhere and it gets messed up your on your own.
please don’t go there for alterations. they’re way overpriced and don’t do a good job, and then refuse to fix things when they screw up. find an independent seamstress/tailor and save yourself a lot of aggravation.
the only good thing about them is that if they do screw up your dress they replace it at no cost to you so you get that guarantee.
Yeah, definitely go for a local seamstress!
I payed $50 to get the sides taken in an inch and I payed when I picked it up
As a former DB employee, please take it to a local seamstress.
I’ll take your word for it! I’m currently looking for local and trustworthy seamstresses.
