Hey bees! I am back on wedding bee as a bridesmaid this time instead of a bride…I needed some wedding related help and this was the first place I thought of to go! 🙂
So. My friend (the bride) gave us these stipulations to follow for our dresses months ago: strapless, long, and fuschia. Great! So we’ve all been looking for a couple months.
I found a GREAT deal on a David’s Bridal dress on Ebay in Begonia, David’s Bridal’s version of fuschia. I purchased the dress…only to find out 10 minutes later that the bride had decided she wanted us all to buy from the same designer so that the colors matched perfectly. That designer being Jasmine Bridal, because the maid of honor found a dress she loves by that designer.
Now, for months I was assuming she’d know the colors wouldn’t be a perfect match, and I figured that’s what she was going for was a variation in color as well as the dresses! I guess not!
So now I have a problem. Luckily she is a pretty calm bride and is not freaking out, and believes that the colors should match.
I found a post about a different jasmine color and a david color being an EXACT match, so I’m hoping the fuschia is the same.
SO this is my predicament and here are the questions or decisions that need to be made.
The question is..does anyone know if David’s bridal Begonia and Jasmine’s fuschia are anywhere near a color match?
and the decision…
Do I still buy the dress at a great price and hope it matches?
Or, do I message the ebay seller and explain what happened and hope she has pity on me?
Or, do I be a bad person and bad ebayer and not send payment and get a bad strike against me on my ebay account. 😡 🙁
What do you think bees??
