I think lime green and navy blue would look really cool.

If they’re discontinuing colors, I wonder how often they introduce new colors? I’m thinking of putting my girls in lapis but it’s a very blue-purple – we looked at it in the store and all agreed it’s practically navy. I really want a deep eggplant/plum purple. Really wish they’d introduce a color like that before we have to order.

That’s really pretty!

I did look at sangria but it was too pink for the look I’m going for.

Also when you go look in the store look at the type of fabric’s. The colors look different in the different fabrics.  I originally was going to use the color Horizon (brightish blue) for my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses but didn’t like the look of it in the chiffon dresses which what my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses are so ended up doing Marine (Navy Blue) and I absolutely love the chiffon Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses in that color.

@FutureMrsBPB: This is the inspiration board I have been using for my wedding! I’ve decided to go with more of a cobalt blue than navy, but I am so excited about this color combination for my september wedding! So far I’m loving it, so I say, go for it!

I love lime with navy.  I picked Sangria.  Love it with navy as well.

@FutureMrsBPB: So, as I mentioned, my colors were going to be a royal blue and lime green.  My bridesmaids ALSO unanimously rejected the idea of wearing lime green dresses. I couldn’t even convince them to go apple green.  We’ve altered since to fit my bridesmaids dress color to Alfred Angelo’s cobalt blue.  We’ve chosen a cobalt blue dress, with a navy blue sash.  I know it’s kind of a risky choice for us, two tones of blue, but I thought of your problem when we chose this dress!  What if you did a two-tone dress for your bridesmaids with navy blue in it, so your mom will still fit the color theme?

Here’s our Bridesmaid or Best Man dress:

You can go on Alfred Angelo’s website and change the color of the dress, so you have an idea of what the dress would look like cobalt/navy.

Hope this helps!

Oooh I actually really like the Orange and Blue.  i’m not crazy about teal on girls, down below.  The orange dresses are so bright and vibrant, it seems like a good way to go to me!  Plus, it’s great for the fall!
