@Weetzie:  Personally I think it looks amazing! You look great! <3 It’s a nuisance though. I had to get my Bridesmaid or Best Man stuff at DB, and they dyed the Bridesmaid or Best Man shoes horribly. Imagine splotches of uneven fuchsia dye on strappy sandals. You would think they would put more effort into getting things done right as weddings *are* sort of important… 

PS As a former MA resident, I didn’t have to even look at your “origin” to see that you were at a Massachusetts DB. The jersey in the back said it all. =)

@Weetzie:  I specifically bought this dress because you looked SO AMAZING in the pics on the website. I can’t believe you’re a bee!!!

Now I’m nervous 🙁 Can you call customer service and ask them to work with you? Like National Cust Service and not for the specific store?

I got my dress there but I’m having my alterations done with someone else, I just don’t really trust them with that part. Undecided

@Weetzie:  Go above and complain. Keep going higher up the authority chart and I’m sure someone will do something about it – at least give you a good discount and clean the dress for you.

I ordered my dress too, and for some reason the dress i got was 2 inches shorter as well, so the pair of shoes I bought to wear with the dress are too tall, I had to go out and buy some more. Not so happy about how wrinkled the dress is either, It looks like someone put it in a closet and crumpled it up and left it in there for a few months.

Sorry to hear about that! When I ordered, I made sure to check over everything two times and I had my FH check everything too (yes, he was there). They were super busy so I knew they could potentially mess things up. I think I just didn’t trust them to get it right too. Everything worked out for me. The dress looks lovely on you btw.

Call someone at corporate and tell them the story.  See what they can do for you.  My friend had similar trouble with the legth and wrong dress and in the end they paid for her dress to make it right.  🙂  Just be polite but firm!

@Weetzie:  Yeah. Good points. It’s good that you are going with a local alterations lady instead of through the shop.

I didn’t want to go through there but when I put the dress on it was definately it. I put on three dresses the first time and it was the third one (after pointing to the display four times and saying – I’d like to try that one). Then she started to get very pressuring that I should order it that day.

It was on sale for 399 and I didn’t get it because I didn’t want to buy something and regret it later. So I went back two weeks later (after staring at it online and looking at all of the beautiful customer pics 🙂 tried it on again and it was the one. I paid for it then at 200 dollars more. :l

I hope your alterations turn out lovely. I am super short – so I will have the opposite. I am kind of thinking of cutting a layer of the crinoline though. Are you keeping all of yours?

I am so excited to FINALLY meet someone getting this dress…can you tell?
