SomethingBlue1009:  we did ours through Db and it was great the girls all like the dresses! It was easy all the girls could go order them when they were ready it’s all under your name!

SomethingBlue1009:  I did everything through DB and had no major issues. Everyone was very helpful and this was over 3 stores in three different states! Go for it.

I plan on using DB for bridesmaid dresses. I have girls in several different states and they can all go and try them on and order them on their own. I think it will work out well.

I’m in Canada but I had nothing but good experiences with David’s Bridal! Bought all of my bridesmaids dresses there and a second wedding dress. Our bridesmaids got so many compliments – the dresses were pretty, comfortable and looked great in pictures. Our only complaint was that it was super busy at DB… but not much you can do about that.

I am a bridesmaid and all of us got our dresses at DB. I also picked up my wedding dress as did my bridal party at David’s so nothing but good experience this time around.

I found better prices and quality at nordstrom for bridesmaid dresses, it doesn’t hurt to shop around. Just sayin

I had a good experience with David’s for Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses. They were very organized and easy to work with; howeve, I don’t think their prices are that ‘bargain.’ They do have sales though.

SomethingBlue1009:  We did DB for Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses. Like you, I had multiple staters and people with different budgets. I think the most they spent was $129 and the lowest was $79. Everyone seemed to have a fine experience with them – though I’d recommend alterations elsewhere as one girls alteration quote was more than the dress price!

They came in within weeks (seriously it was like 2 weeks) and two girls had to exchange sizes closer to the wedding and it was no issue at all.

SomethingBlue1009:  definitely try them on and be mindful on sizing. I found the dresses to really vary on quality and fit. Some were great. Some not so much. I also found (as a Bridesmaid or Best Man and with my BMs) that the dresses get stretched out and if a size 4 fits great, it’ll be way too small when it comes in.

I’d recommend them as a budget dress that’ll need alterations and you’ll likely never wear again. I much prefer Alfred Angelo, which is in your price point.

SomethingBlue1009:  The prices at DB are reasonable and the dresses often go on sale. However the quality isn’t there, which is fine because nobody is going to wear their dress again. 2 out of the 3 BMs with DB dresses busted their zipper on the day of my wedding. We sewed one girl into her dress. Luckily the 2nd incident occurred at the end of the night so my Bridesmaid or Best Man just changed into something comfy.

But in terms of service, we don’t have any complaints.

All of my bridesmaids are in different states as well, which was my main reason for picking DB (it’s easier this way). Their dresses were $159, but one girl will have to get hers heemed because it’s wayyyyy too long. Other than that, my bridesmaids had no problems ordering/receiving their dresses and they fit well also.

I’ve heard many complaints about DB dresses being “cheaply made”….but it really depends on the style and fabric. The dresses I picked for my bridesmaids at DB were the exact same fabric & style as a dress I saw at an expensive bridal boutique nearby (my mom read the little tag on the inside of the dress & made a note of the fabric/percentage just to be sure it was the same material as the dress at the other store).

So far have had a good experience, with the only exception being they told some of my BMs that the dress I had on file was black and its def not, but thankfully they thought to text me to make sure. Other than that I agree they need to try on if you have girls with various body shapes. The dress I wore in my brothers wedding I purchased online from there and it barely covered my girls haha, but the dress I picked for my BMs is flattering on everyone so far!
