My cousin recently got married and they used invitations from DB.  The invites looked nice to me.

The only problem they had was that the envelopes were kind of cheap and the adhesive wouldn’t seal on a lot of them.  Said they had some trouble with preparing them and then thought they might have problems with the mailing.  They recommended upgrading the envelopes if we did DB.

You can order a free sample of the one you like online. I did that for one I loved, but when it arrived it looked really cheap.

We ordered ours from DB. They are pocketfold invitations and in fairness, were at the top price point for DB (I think we paid somewhere around $450 for 50?) They are gorgeous. I love them and I think they look much more expensive. We have to assemble them ourselves, but I’m not sure if that’s standard or not. I was very impressed with the quality and level of service – they phoned to check the year was correct as we ordered them last year, quite a distance to the wedding.

Our experience was very positive – hope that helps!

By the way, I would also highly recommend Vistaprint for great-value invitations – I have used them several times in the past for various events and they are great!

I just looked at the under $60 ones and seriously I could do better myself with a trip to Michaels and a high quality printer. If there isn’t any demension to the printed page, I would absolutely go with Vista Print. If you want one of the embossed border ones, check out Michael’s invitation section. I’m almost positive you can get the same stuff, higher quality and less expensive.

Check out annsbridalbargains.com, they have some relatively inexpensive invites. Good luck! I used weddingpaperdivas.com but we paid a good chunk for 130 invitations, RSVP cards and save the dates.

It was the actual invitation. I looked like the font was crooked. I was expecting them to send a sample of the envelope as well or at least the one i wanted in the color i liked. When it arrived, it was literlly just one cardboard square in an envelope.

I recommend Wedding paper diva for invites! They have a lot of options that you can customize yourself and someone who you can “live chat” with for any questions. Very great prices too!

My roommate used them and I thought her invitations were really nice!
