@mrsssb @mspinkcotton I just heard back from customer service via text and she sent me the RMAs without any hassle, so it seems they did listen to their customers and are doing the right thing.  I hope everyone else’s story works out as well!

@mspinkcotton:  @mspinkcotton: I went through the same thing. On February 29 I purchased all my bridesmaid dresses. They said it was going to arrive on March 28-same day I had an appointment for my wedding dress. However, they closed sometime in mid March so I never even saw the bridesmaid dresses delivered. 

 

 

one of my girls got a call on April 20th asking for her address to deliver the dress to her. However, I saw those same dresses online for a cheaper price and ordered them with the plan of returning the in store order when they opened. Because like you, I have the receipt that says I can do it. I called them and spoke with them they said it’s no problem and they’ll put the dresses on the return rack when the store opens I’d come in and return them. 

 

 

fast forward to two weeks ago, they called another one of my girls and said they’d ship it to her so I called them back and reminded them I’m returning it. Then she tells me that they just updated their policy and anything purchased after February 18th would only be for store credit or exchange. Well I lost my sh&$. I said I already bought them online AND my wedding dress online. So I don’t need $700 in store credit. I was pissed. How could you back date your policy? The lady I was speaking to was very nice and understanding and she said that she would “hush hush” do the return for me. 

 

 

i went in today because I added a new bridesmaid and she returned the other dresses. However, they have a new policy now of returns or exchanges for 7 days from PURCHASE DATE. we purchased a bridesmaid dress and it won’t arrive until July 6. Tell me how it makes sense for me to have 7 days to return a dress that I won’t even physically touch for the next month? 

 

 

All in all, I got lucky with the manager at the Burbank store and if I hadn’t been able to, I would dispute the crap out of it because you cannot tell your customers they have x amount of days to return something then decide to change your rules. You want to change your policy? Do it effective that day forward. Don’t back date things because that’s beyond ridiculous especially when your stores have been closed and people couldn’t return things even if they wanted to!! 

 

 

I know my post doesn’t help you but just know I know how you feel. Dispute that shit ASAP.
