They generally have very positive reviews on here, but most brides will tell you your dress will not look exactly like the original, so be prepared for differences. Other than that, I have seen nothing but good things about them.

I was going to get a dress at David’s, but my budget is teeny tiny and my tastes are big and huge.  So I am trying to decide between Dressily copying an Oleg Cassini or a Maggie.  I’m not ordering my dress until mid October though – it only takes 5 weeks to arrive, and if there is a problem, I’ll still have enough time to come up with a solution.  I don’t anticipate a problem, though.

Go for Dressilyme and please post your experience along the way. I looooooove Mori Lee Jullietta dresses as well as a Justin Alexander dress I came across yesterday and I want to see thier process first hand. There is a board just for Dressilyme on Projectwedding.com. Good luck!!!

I would say go to David’s Bridal. Why? Well, what if the dress you buy online needs alterations?  David’s Bridal does them for you, tho you may pay a little more for them, they are guaranteed 100%. If you buy something online and take it to an alterations place, are they gonna buy you a new gown if they, by chance, mess it up? I don’t think so. I thought of buying online too but decided against it. It was too important of a purchase for me to chance. Just my opinion.

Dressily is quicker this time of year.  Once January hits and Chinese New Year – the time line expands greatly.  Remember, the less intricate dresses turn out the best.  I was happy with mine.
