they gave me the bustier and a slip plus picked out shoes i wanted to wear. My overall experience was ok. The salesperson had another appointment booked as the same time as mine so when i was done with one dress and ready for the next she wasnt there.

We were there trying on flower girl dresses this past weekend. All of the brides seemed to be having a really fun time. There were some cute dresses that I wanted to try on, but I know better since I have mine already. I would reccomend going later in the day. Like 3-5ish, they seemed like they were slowing down a bit then. good luck!

I made an appointment and had a great experience. I was there on a slow day and I was the only one there except a bridesmaid with another consultant. They gave me all the stuff I needed for underneath and let me try on shoes as well. They even showed me veils and headbands but weren’t pushy about it. It may have been my unqiue experience but the sales consultant even remembered me when I went back to look for my bridesmaid dress 😉

Good luck! go on a slow day!

It wasn’t super fancy  nor did I feel pampered but it was a positive experience at DB. I agree with the other bee’s, going in late afternoon is best. They gave bra’s/petticoats if I needed it for a dress.

It’s not fancy, but my experience was a good one. ( I think because David’s is only one of the two places to buy a dress in the area) I went on a weekday during the early afternoon and it was pretty nice. They gave me a bra and slip and even some different shoes to try out. They let me play with accessories as well but it wasn’t high pressure in the least. Good luck!

I agree…it isn’t super fancy 🙂 but my experience was a good one. I think especially now that they arn’t just “the $99 sale” and have designer type dresses and more fashion forward styles it is a lot better then a few years ago (and not to say that a $99 dress can’t be fabulous!)

they let me use the bra and slip (which they sell you if you buy the dress) but if you don’t want a slip you don’t have to wear one. My experiences there have all been really great! They were’nt pushy, and actually let you take pictures of the dresses!

They remember me as well, because I go in there to order and pick up dresses as my firls get them.
