My daughter is getting married in September 2013. Since she is trying to keep down expenses we went to David’s Bridal and our experience was laughable. The bridal consultant paid no attention to my daughter, did not listen to her, and left it to her maid of honor to help her try on the dresses. The price of the gowns was very affordable but they were cheaply made and the overall wedding gown shopping experience was not great. We then went to Majesty Bridal in Danbury, Connecticut and had a fantastic experience. The dress consultant listened to what my daughter was looking for, pulled a number of dresses, helped her try them on and treated her like a bride should be treated. My daughter actually found several dresses she looked great in before finding the perfect gown. All of us who were with her agreed that every bride should have this kind of experience when looking for a wedding dress. If you can afford a little more money, take it from me, it is worth it to skip David’s and shop in a more upscale store.
