Is it ok to just walk into Davids Bridal or Alfred Angel without an appointment? or will they have a cow? My sisters (BMs) and my mom are coming down tomorrow to look at wedding dresses for me again (i picked out a dress, but it was discontinued *sad face*) and we wanted to look at some bridesmaid dresses too, but we don’t have an appt. Just wondering if this is ok, or frowned upon.

In my experience, Alfred Angelo was always nice and accomodating, but they did advise no walkins on weekends since they’re busier with appointments. DB’s would make me wait an eternity just to ask a question let alone try on dresses, but I had to wait even when I had an appointment.

I had no problems with David’s Bridal. I went twice without an appointment, to two different stores, for both my dress and bridesmaids dresses. I went to one Alfred Angelo without an appointment and had no problems (I bought my dress there) but the second one I went to with my bridesmaids, on a thursday night, said we couldn’t even look at dresses because they didn’t have enough staff. We pretty much got kicked out, it was like my Pretty Woman moment, so we went across the street to David’s Bridal, without an appointment, and bought my bridesmaids dresses. Oh well, their loss.
