    I voted ‘without the sash’. The sash creates a second break in the dress, and there’s already a break above it. The sash looks out of place because of that.

    I like the sash, but the dress looks great either way! if you want the extra detail of the sash maybe try moving the sash up to cover or replace the beading/ribbon under the bust.

    You already have an empire line of beading under the bust so def no sash.

    I don’t think it looks quite right around the waist.  Have you tried placing it right under the bust (following that seam)?

    I voted for without, as I agreed with another PP that it makes 2 lines and that doesn’t flow. However, I do like how it was photoshopped to be with that one seam!

    This is my dress too!! I didn’t even think about adding a sash at the empire waist. I may have to play around with it.  Thanks for this post, nice to get ideas!!
