Ladies,
I know I post on here FAR too often, but I’m on day 4 of super positive OPKs. I missed two days of temping so I was trying to see when the OPKs would go negative for a better idea of what’s going on with my cycle, but they just aren’t turning negative. I’m wondering if I should call my doctor to see about getting checked out for PCOS. Anyone else have numerous positive OPKs without PCOS? If so, when did you ovulate during those positive OPKs? We’re going to BD EOD just to be safe.

LizLemon: Have you used OPK’s successfully in past? If so I wouldn’t be to concerned about PCOS. Also since your temping, have you been for the past few months? If so how long are your cycles? Are they regular? Are you confirming O? Again if you’re finding these things I wouldn’t be TOO concerned about PCOS. You can always talk to your doctor about it, but don’t stress or about it if your cycles are in the range of normal.. If I were you I’d keep OPKing until you get a neg.. Or if you keep getting positives take a pregnancy test lol (you never know, right?!)

I have to say, I’ve had the same issue- my OPKs were positive for about 10 days last time and my OB is thinking my LH levels are too high which is indicating PCOS. Hope that’s not the case for you!

Stephville: This is my first month of temping, and usually I get two days of positive OPKs. My cycles aren’t as regular as I’d like them to be – last cycle was 31 days, the one before that was 26. On average, they’re 29 days. I’ll probably end up holding out talking to my doctor until my annual in June – but it would be great if we got a BFP before that ๐

LizLemon: The length of your cycles are definitely in range of normal! ๐ temping will give you a ton insight, so keep it up for sure, plus it’s good info to share with your doctor.
What CD are you? Is this normally around the time that you would expect to get a positive OPK?
FX you get a BFP before you see your Dr in June ๐

Stephville: I’m now CD 16 – EWCM started earlier this cycle than normal, and even though I missed those days of temping, my temp has been steadily rising since CD 14, so I’m pretty sure I O’d. Waiting game now!

LizLemon: I feel like I’m having the same issue. I’m a POASaholic, and have been doing OPKs in the morning and evening. My morning ones have been VERY positive since Monday, and the evening ones have been close or barely positive. It’s driving me nuts (I don’t temp yet) not knowing exactly when I’m actually going to O.
With your experieince when did you actually O? During or after your 4 positives? Did they end up negative after those 4 or did you stop testing?
