(Closed) Day after photo session?

I’ve heard of people getting together BEFORE the ceremony to do pictures. Is that an option? And yes, you lose the whole “the first time he sees me is when I’m walking down the aisle”, but I think then you do a “first look” instead? I think some ladies on here have done that so maybe they have more info than me!

We fixed that problem by taking the pictures before the ceremony (ours was also at 6pm).

Keep in mind that a good camera does not equal good pictures. If you want pro-quality shots of you and your husband outside, you’re going to either have to pay for a day-after session (our photog offered this) or do a first look/pics beforehand. I can guarantee you the pics your family take won’t be as good.

Oh–I missed the part where the day after session was not with the photog. I tend to agree with crayfish it can be a gamble to not have a pro take the pics. You might want to ask yours what it will cost to do a day after session. Or do you have a photographer friend who might be willing to help out?
