Hi bees! I am trying to work on a timeline for the day of, and I am needing to make appointments for my girls.
My ceremony/reception are in a town 30 minutes away from where we live. The night before the wedding, my girls and I will be staying at my apartment – my salon and makeup place are in my hometown as well.
I have 8 people, plus myself getting hair done, and 5 people, plus myself, getting airbrush makeup.
I have had my hair done twice – I have no idea how long it takes. Any guesses when we should start? Each salon (for hair and makeup) will only have 2 stylists.
My ceremony begins thirty minutes away, at 6:30pm. We will be doing some family pictures before.
Thanks for your help!

Yea that is a tight timeline!
Ok, so assuming you do hair first
To be safe I would allow 1 hour per hair style. I am allowing 1.5 hours for my hair and the girls are really simple low bun (no curls) and they are coming to the salon with dry clean hair so they are about 45 min each.
So with 2 stylists that is 5.5 hours to get 9 peoples hair done.
Make up should be about 30 minutes per bridesmaid and about 45 minutes for you. So with two stylists I would plan about 2 hours for make up.
What time do you want to get to the church? If it starts at 6:30, then I am guessing about 30 minutes prior you need to be done with pictures and relaxing. So say from 5-6 you do pictures?
With a 30 minute drive you need to be leaving your hometown around 4:30.
Make up would then be from 2:30-4:30
Hair would be from 9-2:30.
Obviously I would build in a little bit more “what if” time. But this should be good.
