Hey Bees… long-time reader, first-time poster 🙂
My big day is coming up, it’s a sunset affair (6:30pm) … we’re doing pictures early (in the daylight) 3:30… What would an ideal day-of beauty timeline be? Is it wise to do a firming/moisturizing mask? nails? How long do you give yourself for hair/makeup?
Should I take a nap? … should I work-out that morning? … etc, etc, etc
It’s going to be a long day, and I want to be occupied but as relaxed as possible. Thoughts?
Thanks soooo much for any responses! I think I’m finally starting to feel a little pre-wedding anxiety.

I never thought about working out that morning! That’s a really good idea if you have the time. Whenever I work out in the morning before work i’m less stressed and I feel better not only emotionally, but physically as well. I’m sure it would have the same effect on your wedding day. Maybe I’ll try and squeeze in 30min of cardio when I wake up! I’m doing nails and masks and those sort of fun things the night before with all of my bridesmaids then we’re all waking up having fruit and mimosas showering and then going to our hair and makeup appointments… I have to be ready by 2 for photos so I’m going to my hair appointment at 10:30 and my makeup appointment at 12:30.. It’s probably way more time than I need, but I don’t want to feel like I need to stress or rush I just want to have fun and feel pampered 🙂
Hope that helps I’m interested in hearing what all you other ladies plan to do the day of 🙂

We had almost the same timeline, except we did bridal shots starting at 3. I started to get ready (shower) at noon and seriously ran out of time. Makeup takes A LOT longer than you would ever think.
Get your nails done the day before. The last thing you want to worry about is polish that day.
I got up around 8:30 and the time flew by until I had to go and take a shower. With last minute WTH’s to Starbucks to more WTH’s.
Give yourself a lot of time.

I wouldn’t work out that morning. I had my makeup done at 8 (that was the only time she could come) and it took about an hour and a half I think and then my hair at 2. Our pictures were at 4. I wouldn’t do nails the day of because of worrying about them drying.

Get your nails done either one or two days prior. I am going to do that with my BM’s!
I think hair appt should be around noon-1. And make up right after. Then you’ll have some sit down time inbetween and special time with your BM’s 🙂
