I am thinking of getting an event planner but am confused as to how they charge? Or, should I get a day of coord? What should a day of coord. cost and what should they do? <!– ********* ItemTemplate.BodyColPostBodyEnd (/1 row) ************* //–>

DOC’s usually take care of last minute items (placing flowers, directing vendors, etc) and handle emergencies so you and your posse don’t have to. Our ceremony venue came with one and I’m asking a good family friend to help witht he reception (they are in the same place). The ceremony coordinator (at a catholic church) runs $150. I’ve seen them run between $200-1000 for the whole day. If you’re brave, there are plenty of wanna-be wedding planners out there who will do it for free or VERY cheap to gain expirence.
Do a quick google search to learn more :e)
